Trees from 20 to 200 million years ago that have naturally preserved themselves through a process called mineralization. This means that instead of decomposing they have turned to solid petrified/fossilized wood stone. A truly incredible process of the earth that gives us a glimpse and treasure of the past. The original bark of this small stump along with the rings of the tree give us a connection to the earth and the life that has existed long before us
