A rare find black and white cluster.  The black portion is quartz, the same kind as smokey quartz and gets its colour from extreme radiation in the earth (elements around it).  The radiation is not carried in the stone which means it is completely safe.  Its strength and endurance does however carry the properties of grounding like other dark root chakra stones. 

Such dark quartz is good to have around if you need help settling down or gaining focus for meditation. In theme with it being so strongly connected to the root chakra, black quartz also awakens our primal survival instincts and will to live.

Rare and unique because there is still a solid base of clear quartz to this piece
